Conformance standards
Campus Captions produces video accessibility deliverables — captions, audio description, and transcripts — to conform with WCAG 2.1 Level AA, the DCMP Description Key and Captioning Key, and the accessibility requirements of the DOJ 2024 ADA Title II Final Rule for public colleges and universities.
Accessibility Conformance Report
An Accessibility Conformance Report (ACR), prepared in the ITI VPAT® 2.5 format, documents the conformance of Campus Captions deliverables against WCAG 2.1 Level AA and Success Criterion 1.2.7 (Extended Audio Description). The ACR is available to institutions on request.
Procurement documentation
For institutions evaluating Campus Captions, a completed Higher Education Community Vendor Assessment Toolkit (HECVAT) response, a FERPA-aligned Data Processing Addendum, information security and privacy policies, and supporting compliance documentation are provided under a non-disclosure agreement during the evaluation process.
